The U.S. Botanic Garden facilities are not available for weddings or other personal or private functions such as personal celebrations, fundraising events, events linked to political activities, commercial events, advocacy, or lobbying events. Policies governing Congressionally related evening events are established by the Joint Committee of Congress on the Library. All events must be Congressionally related or support the mission of the USBG and must be bipartisan in nature.
The U.S. Botanic Garden is a unique venue in which living plants are the priority. There are strict guidelines in place to continue to preserve the health of the plants while providing a world-class venue for Congressionally sponsored event guests.
Congressionally sponsored event information:
- May take place only on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings
