The United States Botanic Garden (USBG) is temporarily closed to the public to reduce the risk of transmitting COVID-19 coronavirus.

A favorite native vine for gardeners in the south and eastern United States, Carolina jessamine has masses of fragrant yellow flowers in the spring. This evergreen vine has few pests, adapts to almost any soil, and can be used as groundcover or grown over fences, walls, or trellises. Deer do not favor it but butterflies and hummingbirds do!
