Horticulture Volunteers
Horticulture volunteers support the staff with general care and maintenance of the living plant collections at the Conservatory, Production Facility (Greenhouse complex) and outdoor gardens. Candidates must have previously completed a Master Gardener certificate program, hold a degree in horticulture (or completed similarly-related coursework) or be currently employed in the field of horticulture.

The Horticulture Division is recruiting for the following volunteer positions:

The Public Programs Division is recruiting for the following volunteer positions:

  • Visitor Information Services (VIS) Volunteer: The USBG is currently recruiting front desk volunteers for alternate Wednesday afternoons (1:00 - 5:00 PM) as well as Saturday morning (10:00 AM - 2:00 PM) and afternoon shifts (1:00 - 5:00 PM). For additional information,
